I pity the poor foreigners, who don't speak German. I'm going through my record collection ripping those that I can't find online for download. And most of them are in German, leaving everybody behind who rather regards German language as a disease. Here we have rhyming Roski, who brings this German language to artistic splendor. His lyrics are sometimes comedy, sometimes nonsense word plays, often cynic or sarcastic. Some of his rhymes became proverbs in everyday language, pushing his records into the top ten charts in the 70ies. If you want to improve your German (whether you are German or a foreigner), this is the best occasion. The musical style varies between folk, country and jazz.
