The Husband Factor is the story of Efsun (30) who seeks true love and a romantic relationship rather than a husband. She is the black sheep of her peers and the women of her family who are programmed for marriage. She is seeking love yet she does not know what most girls know; how to strike an attitude, or how to manipulate a man. Hence, she has not had a single steady relationship to date. The good news is that her family is dedicated to initiating Efsun into the intricacies of womanhood and ensuring that she gets hitched into the happily ever after. Efsun surrenders herself into the capable hands of these women. As they are getting ready to re-launch her, Efsun runs into her high school friend and former flame Sinan. He is the one, the boyfriend she was never able to get over or replace.

Having weathered marriage pressures from family and friends in the first movie of the series, Efsun is now with the man of her dreams, Sinan. But the complications facing her love life don't get any less. As if her own chaotic family wasn't enough, she now has to contend with Sinan's - his grandmother, Cavide, in particular - and things quickly spin out of control. Will she make it through hell and high water to fulfill her dream of a peaceful life with Sinan? Does she really want the wedding everyone else has decided on for her?

Jan Kadar (who co-directed this film with Elmar Klos) plays a Czech partisan fighter in the waning days of the war. Just as peace is declared, Kadar is shot in the spine and sent to the hospital emergency ward. As he fades in and out of consciousness, he recalls the events that led to his participation in the underground. Holding German occupation commander Engelchen responsible for all the horrors and deprivations heaped upon his comrades, Kadar is kept alive by the possibility of recovering and exacting vengeance upon the Nazi officer–no matter how long it takes. Death is Called Engelchen was also released as For We Too Do Not Forgive and Because We Don't Forget.

A fisherman saves Anada, a woman adrift, from drowning. He takes her to his home, and protects her. Eventually, she occupies a larger place than was to be expected. He commits adultery with her, but his own wife seems to be in love with the strange young woman.
