Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (風の谷のナウシカ Kaze no tani no Naushika?) is a 1984 film by Japanese writer, illustrator, and filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, based on his manga of the same name. The movie has environmentalist undertones and was presented by the World Wide Fund for Nature when it was released in 1984. Nausicaä is ranked as one of the 50 greatest science fiction films by the Internet Movie Database.[1] While created before Studio Ghibli was founded, the film is considered by some to be the studio's first film because of the involvement of Studio Ghibli's Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, Toshio Suzuki[2] and Joe Hisaishi. It is often included as part of the Studio's works, including the Studio Ghibli Collection of DVDs.

فيلم رسوم متحركة ياباني (أنمي) من أنتج عام 1984 قام بإخراجه هاياو ميازاكي. يستند الفيلم إلى مانغا تحمل نفس الأسم من تأليفه. تم إنتاج الفيلم قبل إنشاء إستديو جيبلي.

بولت، نجم تلفزيوني، ويعيش داخل أستوديو في التلفزيون، حيث يعتقد أنه يمتلك حقا القوى التي يمثلها في الحصص التي تحمل اسمه، وذات يوم، وعلى حين غفلة قام بولت الكلب بالهرب من الأستوديو، ليجد نفسه مرميا في إحدى شوارع نيويورك.
وهنا تتضح المشاهد المحركة للقصة.
حيث يلتقي بميتان (Mitaine)، وهي قطة مجاري المياه، وصدفة يجد أحد أكثر المعجبين به وهو الهامستر رينو (Rhino)، وبعدها يحاول فولط اجتياز نيويورك من شرقها إلى غربها حيث تقع هوليود، ويصاد ف أثناء اجتيازه لنيويورك الحياة الواقعية الصعبة، ويكتشف أن قواه الخارقة لا وجود لها. ينتهي الفيلم.
