"The Live Anthology" is a multiple-disc set of recordings drawn from thirty years of live performances. The collection brings together material from 1978-2007 culled from hundreds of hours of live concert recordings covering every era of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' tours and represents the best tracks as chosen by producers Tom Petty, Mike Campbell and Ryan Ulyate.

"Mojo" is the 12th studio album by American rock band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The album debuted at No.2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 125,000 copies in its first week of release. The album is also the band's first full album with bassist Ron Blair since 1981's "Hard Promises", as he played on only two tracks on the previous Heartbreakers album, "The Last DJ".

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers famously played 20 nights at the legendary Fillmore venue in San Francisco in 1997.

"Pack Up the Plantation: Live!" is the first official live album by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, released in November 1985. It was primarily recorded at the Wiltern Theatre during their 1985 tour but also includes several tracks from previous tours. It was released as a double LP or single cassette and compact disc.

An unusual move for Tom Petty to score the music for the Edward Burns's film She's the One and then still turn it into a standard Tom Petty release. The inclusions of two versions of "Walls" and "Angel Dream" make it seem more like a movie soundtrack. But, at heart, the material is more classic Petty. "Grew Up Fast" and "Hope You Never" are perfect radio songs and Petty's cover of Beck's "Asshole" proves his anti-punk stance may finally be softening with a little help from producer Rick Rubin, whose ears have given Petty his most appealing production in years.

The Best Of Everything, the first career-spanning collection of all of Tom Petty’s hits with The Heartbreakers, his solo work and Mudcrutch, is released via Geffen Records / UMC. The 38-track set also features two previously unreleased tracks, including the collection’s lead single—an alternate version of the title track, which restores a never-heard second verse to the song that was originally recorded for the Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ 1985 album, Southern Accents. All 38 recordings on The Best of Everything have been newly mastered for this collection from the original stereo master tapes or digital files by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, with supervision by Ryan Ulyate.

This album is the Heartbreakers'€™ sixth and featured multiple producers on various tracks including Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Jimmy Iovine, Dave Stewart, and Robbie Robertson. It was recorded at Gone Gator One Studios, Sound City, Village Recorder, Sunset Sound, and Church Studio, London. "Southern Accents" made it to number 7 on the US Billboard 200 after its release in 1985. Singles from this album include "Make It Better (Forget About Me)", "Rebels" and "Don'€™t Come Around Here No More", which peaked at number 13 on Billboard's Hot 100.
