Exit-13 is a grind band from Pennsylvania. Exit-13 is a mainly- studio concoction, the brainchild of guitarist Steve O'Donnell and vocalist Bill Yurkiewicz (ex-Relapse Records owner ); for this recording, they enlisted the assistance of members of Brutal Truth (Danny Lilker and Rich Hoak) and former Pain Teens singer Bliss Blood. Released in 1996, this odd collection of songs is a tribute to the virtues of smokin' spliffs, mostly featuring "smoking songs" of the 1920s and '30s along with a couple of parody moments and a crazed semi-white-noise freakout track, "Loading Dock."

Joel Hoekstra, best known to legions of rock fans as the current guitarist for Whitesnake and Trans-Siberian Orchestra (and also known for his work with Night Ranger and the Broadway show Rock of Ages), returns with his sophomore album, "Running Games" from his electrifying solo project, Joel Hoekstra’s 13. Hoekstra once again handles the bulk of the creative process, overseeing production, songwriting and arranging (music and lyrics), and crafting his vision for this powerful hard rock record. Add Chris Collier’s masterful mixing and the result is ‘70s/’80s classic hard rock with 2020’s muscle. As with the debut, “Running Games” features an all-star cast of musicians including none other than Russell Allen (vocals), Tony Franklin (bass), Vinny Appice (drums), and Derek Sherinian (keyboards). The amazing Jeff Scott Soto also lends a helping hand with background vocals.

Lucky 13 is a compilation of the first two "Too Slim and the Taildragger" recordings , "Swingin' in the Underworld" 1988 and "Rock em Dead" 1990. This album is a great representative of the bands formative years. The band was a hard drivin' blues rock band doing the club circuit in those days. All the original tunes are penned by founding member and guitarist Tim "Too Slim" Langford. There is a great selection of covers by the band including a "raucous" rendition of Link Wray's "Rumble.
