Ritmi incalzanti, produzione che strizza l'occhio al mondo dell'elettronica, ritornelli cantabili e radiofonici, atmosfere vivaci: "Mi hai fatto fare tardi", la canzone scelta come singolo apripista, rappresenta bene i colori musicali e il mood di "Modern art", quarto album in studio della cantautrice piacentina. Le differenze rispetto al precedente, "Frasi & fumo", si sentono: quel disco, prodotto da Mauro Pagani, era un omaggio alla musica nera e alla tradizione italiana anni '60 e '70, classico e molto suonato. "Modern art", invece, è un disco urbano e tropicale, come Nina Zilli ha ripetuto nelle varie interviste: se "Frasi & fumo" te lo immaginavi suonato in uno di quei club con tavolinetti, tavoli da biliardo e un piccolo palco sullo sfondo, questo nuovo disco te lo immagini suonato su una spiaggia di Kingston all'ora del tramonto.

On 26th May 2016, The Flaming Lips performed their universally acclaimed 1999 album The Soft Bulletin in its entirety with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. This particular event has been regarded by those in attendance as one of the most awe-inspiring, moving and magical moments of a lifetime. For the Lips and their fans, perhaps the apex of a magnificent interpretation that will remain as rewarding and emotionally-charged as it was that night in 2016. The Flaming Lips performed the 12-track album in its original sequence with new arrangements accompanied by a 69-piece orchestra and 56-strong chorus. The performance was conducted by the internationally celebrated conductor Andre De Ridder.

Regarded as the greatest Spanish composer of the twentieth century, Manuel de Falla (1876-1946) developed an interest in native Spanish music - in particular Andalusian flamenco - while studying with Felipe Pedrell in Madrid in the late 1890s. From 1907 to 1914 he lived in Paris where he met, and was influenced by, Ravel, Debussy and Dukas. Together with his compatriots Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados he established the Spanish national school, integrating the rich Spanish folklore and music tradition in their own personal language.
