Anlässlich des 400. Todestags von William Byrd im Jahr 2023 stellt der Saint Thomas Choir of Men & Boys, Fifth Avenue, New York eine Messe zu Fronleichnam so nach, wie Byrd sie Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts erlebt haben könnte. Diese neue Aufnahme enthält verschiedene lateinische Motetten, die der Komponist für das Fest geschrieben hat, sowie dessen vierstimmige Messe. Mit enthalten ist zudem eine Aufnahme von Byrds Great Service für die reformierte anglikanische Liturgie (die Kehrseite seiner katholischen Persönlichkeit), die 1981 nur auf Langspielplatte veröffentlicht wurde.

Fifth Avenue, New York and conductor John Scott release this compelling programme of choral works by Henry Purcell which also features the acclaimed New York period ensemble Concert Royal. Recorded on period instruments, this collection of sacred works by Henry Purcell features some of the composer’s best-known choral works framed by the large scale works O sing unto the Lord, Z44 and the Te Deum in D major, Z232. Completing this collection is the organ Voluntary in G major, Z720, in a striking performance by John Scott.

Jennifer Lamiraqui (born 25 March 1980, in Paris, France) is a French model. Lamiraqui is perhaps best known for her work in Valisère lingerie ad campaigns. Lamiraqui has worked for Bare Necessities, Intimissimi, Pantene, Saks Fifth Avenue and Vassarette, and has appeared in advertisement for Laura Biagotti's Aqua di Roma.

CRD is releasing a programme of British organ music on the Dobson Organ of Saint Thomas Church, Fifith Avenue, New York City, played by noted concert organist Benjamin Sheen. This collection contains a swath of organ music from composers such as William Walton, John Ireland, Thomas Tallis and including world premiere recordings of an arrangement of an Elgar piece, In London Town by Benjamin Sheen’s father, Graham Sheen, as well as a world premiere recording on Lacrimae by Andrew Carter, written in the memory of John Scott.
