Six years since their last critically acclaimed release, Para Gloria, Sisters Morales are back with their newest cross-over offering Talking to the River. Produced by Los Lobos' Steve Berlin, Talking to the River is Sisters Morales' most musical outing ever, blending textures and tones with sounds that influenced Lisa and Roberta Morales as they grew up in Tucson, Arizona. Often referred to as 'The Female Los Lobos', Talking to the River features a variety of sounds and textures. Throughout the album you will hear the influences of rock, country, blues, folk, and of course, Latin. World Goes Round is a nod to Neil Young. Watcha Gonna Do About It tips their hat to The Beatles and La Mucura is a straight up traditional Mexican rocker. Sisters Morales have been touring the country for nearly two decades with three additional releases to their credit.
