Originally released in 1982, A Flock OF Seagulls’ eponymous debut album reached the top 10 in the US charts, with the smash hit single, ‘I Ran’, climbing to number 9 in the US Billboard Hot 100. The album – with its pioneering New Wave production techniques - received rave reviews at the time, with producer Phil Spector hailing it as ‘phenomenal’.
This 40th Anniversary special CD reissue includes the original album remastered, as well as b-sides, singles, BBC Sessions and a BBC concert held at the Paris Theatre, London, which was originally transmitted in January 1982, all exclusive to the 3 CD format, as well as liner notes compiled by journalist John Earls comprising of an interview with lead singer and founding band member Mike Score

Listen was the second album release by the UK new wave band A Flock of Seagulls, released in 1983. It teamed the musical group with record producer Mike Howlett again, except on the single release "(It's Not Me) Talking" which was produced by Bill Nelson. The record included the UK Top 10 hit "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)". The cassette version and the 1992 CD version (on the Beehive label) have the original LP tracks in a slightly different order, with the additional tracks "Rosenmontag", "Quicksand", and "The Last Flight of Yuri Gagarin" interspersed (although the track listing for the CD edition, printed on the inserts and the disc itself, incorrectly follows the LP track listing above rather than reflecting the disc's actual contents).

A Flock of Seagulls are an English new wave and synth-pop band formed in Liverpool in 1979. The group, whose best-known line-up comprised Mike Score, Ali Score, Frank Maudsley and Paul Reynolds, hit the peak of their chart success in the early 1980s.
