Solo album from former Gomez vocalist Ben Ottewell. A Man Apart -It could refer to his solo career away from Gomez, or to the crazy populist politics demagogues and thugs that seem to rule our world right now, Ben's potent and ongoing love-affair with Americana - and flecked with trace elements of what you might loosely call Derbyshire folk - A Man Apart sounds like the first solo album he has made without some kind of Gomez project lurking in the background.

Man @ Work is the eighth studio album by Scottish Australian singer Colin Hay, released by Compass Records in July 2003. The album is a career-retrospective for Hay: he is best known as the lead singer for the 1980s Australian pop band Men at Work, and roughly half of the songs on this album are Hay's solo studio renderings of works from the Men at Work catalog, while several others are remixes or re-recordings of material from his solo albums. Some songs are almost identical to the original recordings (e.g. "Be Good Johnny") while others are complete reinterpretations (e.g. acoustic versions of "Down Under" and "Who Can It Be Now?"). The album concludes with a version of "Down Under" recorded with the group Wild Clams.

Sensational second album by Italian psychedelic/progressive rock band with their roots very strong in the late 60's/early 70's rock scene.All the right moves are here; excellent musicianship, strong songwriting, miughty Hammond-organs, melodramatic mellotrons, tastefully guitarlicks, wah-wah, backward effects, feedback, acidic psychedelic effects. In places remind me of Pink Floyd atmosphères, Manfred Mann Chapter Three progressive moves and Atomic Rooster heavy feel or contemporary bands like Porcupine Tree and Sun Dial…
