Contemporary artist Gillian Wearing celebrates the legacy of Victorian novelist George Eliot. Just as Eliot’s novel Middlemarch explored the lives of ordinary men and women, this experimental film is made up of a diverse cast of people from different backgrounds.

Citizen: In The Next Life is Billy Sherwood s second release in the Citizen series, which follows the concept that he started with the Citizen album released in November 2015. The songs describe the individual experiences in a journey through time and space of a character, The Citizen through his own eyes: from an appearance in the Berlin bunker as Adolf Hitler in the final days of WWII to the Impressionist painter Monet, then as Stephen Hawking exploring the depths of the mind and the universe, Wyatt Earp, the legendary sheriff of Tombstone, Christopher Columbus, Romeo Montecchi and Mata Hari, among other real and fictitious characters.

This documentary explores the lives of dwarfs through centuries of representations in art and culture, revealing society's shifting attitudes towards people with dwarfism. Presented by Richard Butchins, a disabled film-maker, artist and journalist, the film shows how people with dwarfism have been seen as royal pets, creatures from a separate race, figures of fun and freaks; and it reveals how their lives have been uniquely intertwined with mythology in the popular imagination, making it it all but impossible for dwarfs to simply get on with their everyday lives.

An impressive bundle of Norway's foremost soloists, together with the Broadcasting Orchestra, is behind this recording by Helge Iberg's great work: SONGS FROM THE PLANET OF LIFE.

50 Liters Life is a feature length documentary about the severe drought in South Africa between 2015 and 2018. Since 2015 more and more irregular rainfalls have dried up dams’ level, forcing the Local Government to ask citizens to reduce drastically water consumption. Each citizen should not use more than 50 liters of water per person per day. Whilst strategies carried out by the most ingenious citizens in order to save water have led to good results, on the other side the destiny of agriculture and of the poorest fringe of the population are still unknown. Is it possible to live a 50 liters life?

The extraordinary story of an ordinary woman living through traumatic times raises profound questions about the moral choices and personal sacrifices that one is faced with when confronted by evil. Reflecting back on her life, Brunhilde Pomsel makes it clear that the dangers that led to the rise of fascism have not been overcome. 'So I joined the party,' she recalls. 'Why shouldn't I? Everyone was doing it.'

Bigger Life is the ninth studio album and eleventh album overall by American ska-swing band the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, independently released on Space Age Bachelor Pad Records on June 14, 2019.
