Hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have reunited for Snoop's 20th full-length album Missionary, released by Death Row Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. The star-studded album features Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Sting, Method Man, Jelly Roll, Tom Petty, BJ the Chicago Kid, Jhené Aiko, Alus, K.A.A.N., Smitty, Dem Jointz, Cocoa Sarai, Stalone, and Fat Money.

Two important works dominate volume nine of this series. The first is Bartok's substantial and ambitious late-Romantic Piano Sonata, Op. 19, a very early work, composed when he was around 17 before his studies in Budapest. It was long considered lost and is heard in Goran Filipec's performing edition, prepared from the manuscript.

The Crystal Method is coming with a new album on April 15 titled The Trip Out. There is a new single with Hyper & Iggy Pop titled “Post Punk,” which is out today. “Post Punk” joins “House Broken” featuring Naz Tokio” and “Act Right” featuring Billy Dean Thomas and VAAAL as singles from The Trip Out. The Crystal Method was formed in Las Vegas in the early nineties by co-founders Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan (now retired). They pushed the electronica and big beat worlds in the 90’s and continue to do so today. The Crystal Method released their previous album The Trip Home in 2018 and now it is time to head out.

The Rhythm Method string quartet (Leah Asher, Marina Kifferstein, Meaghan Burke, and Carrie Frey) celebrates its 10th anniversary season with the release of Pastorale, featuring three works written for the group by Lewis Nielson, Paul Pinto, and ensemble violinist Marina Kifferstein. Each piece, in its own way, grapples with questions of social awareness, engagement, and collectivism, all of which is consistent with The Rhythm Method's commitment to meaningful artistic inquiry since its inception.

The ever mutating and expanding collective founded by ikonoklast producer / bassist Bill Laswell. This latest release consisting of live and studio recordings transcends obvious genres and challenges all generic boundaries…dub, North African, drum’n bass, reggae vocals, noise, and much more. Column 3 features core members - Bill Laswell - bass, effects, Guy Licata - drums, and Dr. Israel - voice, electronics, beats, with Adam Rudolph - percussion (Jon Hassell, Philip Glass, Yusef Lateef, Pharaoh Sanders), Henry Kaiser - guitar (Richard Thompson, Fred Frith, Wadada Leo Smith), Steven Bernstein - trumpet (Lou Reed, Aretha Franklin, Sting, Sex Mob), Bachir Attar and Mustapha Attar of The Master Musicians of Jajouka, Morocco.

Lula Nascimento began playing at the age of 16 in his father's orchestra, dancing to jazz.
