Having spent the last half decade building up a name as a jazz and soul singer of rare distinction, Ada Morghe now presents her fourth album, 'Pure Good Vibes', which features the British reggae icon Maxi Priest. A trip to Jamaica in January 2024 set 'Pure Good Vibes' in motion. Ada headed to the island after hearing that her bassist and producer Livingstone Brown, was flying there to work with Maxi Priest. It was an idea that was underlined by her desire to explore the music, culture and Jamaican heritage that had also shaped the lives of her other band members Luke Smith (keyboard) and Josh McNasty (drums).

This book is not intended to teach you the Ada programming language. You should already be familiar with Ada syntax and semantics. My goal is to share with you the experiences I've had using Ada in engineering applications. I hope these pages will help you avoid some common pitfalls. Most of all, I hope I can help you fill your bag-of-tricks with some reusable Ada routines.

The book covers the history of Ada, sample programs, lexical conventions, basics types of Ada, control structures, arrays, records, subprograms, packages, generics, exceptions, files, access types, object oriented features of Ada, concurrency support, language interfaces, idioms, designing Ada programs.

Ada 2005 is the latest version of the International Standard for the programming language Ada. Formally, it is an Amendment of ISO/IEC 8652:1995 (E) rather than a completely new standard. The primary goals for the new version were to enhance its capabilities particularly in those areas where its reliability and predictability are of great value. Accordingly, a number of intriguing and attractive ideas have been included and implemented in a coherent manner as appropriate to the level of perfection necessary for the diligent maintenance of a language standard.
