Dog Fashion Disco have set a July 06th release date through Razor To Wrist for their forthcoming effort, “Experiments In Embryos“. Going by the track listing, the outing appears to be a compilation of re-recorded tracks from 1998’s “Experiments In Alchemy” and “The Embryo’s In Bloom“. Last year the band re-recorded and updated their 1997 debut album “Erotic Massage” in a similar fashion.

In 2005, Senegalese superstar Youssou N'Dour helped organize a concert in Dakar, Senegal, to generate support in the fight against malaria, a disease that continues to plague much of Africa. The Roll Back Malaria concert showcased some of the finest musicians in Northwest Africa, performing in a wonderful if small cross section of musical styles from the vast African continent.
Some common elements in all the performances were multiple percussionists (this being Africa, after all), and an aural fabric of ostinatos, usually played by one or more electric guitars.
First album, also titled 'Amor', by the trio Los Panchos (Alfredo Gil , Chucho Navarro and Johnny Albino) and Turkish-American singer Eydie Gormé recorded in February 1964 in New York, reissued in Spain in 1982 in LP format. This four aces of the song left to remember this classical recording of bolero and Latin vocal music.
With a fast, gritty, and furious slide and electric guitar style, Johnny Winter fused the blues to its rock nephew and became a white guitar legend (an albino one, no less, further adding to his stage allure) with his albums and live performances in the 1970s. This set collects some of the best of those performances at shows played between 1969 and 1977, including soaring versions of Bob Dylan's "Highway 61 Revisited," the Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash," and Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," all of which helped set the stage for later guitar slingers like Stevie Ray Vaughan and others.
18 tracks live at the Panama Club 2004. Tracks include 'Angel', 'Turn The World' & 'Sleepwalking'.
