Such a big, statement-making number could've overshadowed everything else they've done and rendered them one-hit wonders. But the duo have continued to grow and experiment, playing with jazzy neo-soul and thoughtful ballads on 2020's The Way It Feels, while preserving the confidence and catchiness of their debut—even as they understand their audience doesn't want them to reinvent too much.

Maddie & Tae will be releasing their 3rd studio album with 16 brand new songs. Together as longtime friends and music collaborators, Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr previously drew praise for their 1-2 punch project Through The Madness Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and their No. 1 debuting The Way It Feels album.

Maddie & Tae have announced plans for their second album The Way It Feels, which is set for release on April 10th. It will mark the “Girl in a Country Song” duo’s first full-length release since their 2015 debut Start Here.
