Creating A Bug Free Mind is the world's first antivirus for the human mind. A few years ago I discovered that people could not create success because they were effectively trying to load good software onto a computer which had a virus.

Rock, Melodic Hard Rock

The year was 1987 and hard rock had hit its commercial peak. Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and many more released successful albums that year and achieved commercial stardom. But not Andy Taylor — a guy who a few years before was a megastar with multiple top 40 hits and albums. Andy Taylor's debut album Thunder was a big departure from his Duran Duran, and even Power Station, past. The CD is a mix of mid-tempo ballads and rockers, with love being the dominant subject.

Andy M. Stewart and Manus Lunny are, indeed, At It Again! This album captures the pair in extraordinary form. The uniquely expressive voice of Stewart, Silly Wizard’s lead singer, is among Scotland’s finest, and here it soars.

Excellent collection of classics! Every major artist of the forties thru the sixties performs on this box set. It will take a while to go through all 200 songs but what a joy and value.
The sound quality is just excellent. I have never heard these classics from the 40/50's resonate so clear and clean before, a real treat.

With a career that had begun in the late 1960s and had produced a succession of excellent albums throughout the '70s and '80s, Martyn recorded 'The Apprentice' at the end of 1989 at a studio in Glasgow working with musicians including Foster Patterson (keyboards), Dave Taif-Ball (bass) and Aran Ahmun (drums) and guest saxophonist Andy Shepherd. The resulting album was a well-crafted work which was well-received by critics and fans alike. To promote the album, Martyn embarked on a UK tour which included a series of concerts at the Shaw Theatre in London. The concert on 31st March 1990 featured special guest David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. This Esoteric Recordings edition has been newly remastered and expanded to include two rare tracks issued as a single in 1990 along with two additional CDs of the concert at the Shaw Theatre and a DVD of the concert originally issued as The Apprentice In Concert.

Soundtrack, Score, Vocal Jazz, Traditional Pop

Criminally overshadowed by the moral uproar surrounding Adrian Lyne's film remake of Vladimir Nabokov's groundbreaking novel Lolita was Ennio Morricone's remarkable score, a hauntingly beautiful (and beautifully haunting) effort on par with Il Maestro's finest work. The music possesses a darkly dreamlike sensuality that perfectly communicates the erotic obsession at the material's core. Morricone's elegant melodies are daring yet subtle, shaded by melancholy strings and ethereal electronic textures. Milan's official soundtrack release is something of a misfire, however, interrupting Morricone's reverie with period pop hits like Ella Fitzgerald's "Tain't What You Do" and Louis Prima's "Civilization (Bongo, Bongo, Bongo)." Great music, without a doubt, but poorly matched to the intimacy of the instrumental score.
