Hot Pants is the 1971 album by James Brown. The CD was released on 23 March, 1993 with a full take of "Escape-Ism" not on the original.

Hot Pants - I'm Coming, I'm Coming, I'm Coming is a 1989 Japanese-only compilation by soul vocalists Bobby Byrd and wife Vicki Anderson. Part of James Brown's world of artists, the CD is from material released by Brownstone Records (a collaboration between Brown and record company executive Henry Stone) with eleven songs by Byrd and seven songs by Anderson, two of which were released under the name Momie-O when Anderson released only one single on the I Dentify label in 1975.

Angst in My Pants is the eleventh studio album by the American rock band Sparks. Angst in My Pants marked the second occasion that Ron Mael and Russell Mael worked with the backing band of guitarist Bob Haag, bassist Leslie Bohem, and drummer David Kendrick. Additionally James Goodwin augmented the line up playing synthesizers, though these were mixed farther back, letting the rest of the band come to the fore. The resulting power pop album was recorded at Musicland Studios, Munich, produced by Mack in association with Giorgio Moroder Enterprises. The recording of the album was the second and last time that Sparks worked with Mack. "Angst In My Pants" and "Eaten by the Monster of Love" were both used in the movie Valley Girl, a romantic comedy released in 1983. "Eaten by the Monster of Love" was also featured in the 2009 horror movie Cabin Fever 2.

Party In My Pants is the 2004 album by Roman Weingartner, better known under the mononym Romanowski. This was released by Future Primitive Sound.

In 2016 Chris Difford, co-front man of Squeeze and Ivor Novello award-winning lyricist, collaborated with Boo Hewerdine to write Fancy Pants; a musical narrative, (described variously as a Play On Words and a Mid Life Musical). Fancy Pants tells the story of how love comes along later in life to save a formerly famous prog-rock musician from a life of melancholic loneliness and obscurity in Margate. It has been produced as a radio play with a full theatre production planned. The music was available as a limited double CD, but now gets a full release on a single CD: ""Pants"" is effectively a Best Of Fancy Pants, and features guest vocals from Kathryn Williams and Boo Hewerdine.

James Brown's Funky People is a series of compilation albums highlighting the music released on James Brown's People Records subsidiary. The first edition was released in 1986 and due to its success, a second volume was released in 1988. Polydor, now Universal, didn't follow up with a new edition until 2000. The songs on the first two compilations became staples of hip-hop samples due to its placement in this series.
