After pursuing a Rolling Stones-styled blend of rock and country elements on their first two albums, Nazareth segued into a harder rocking style with 1973's Razamanaz. The resulting album has a lot of energy and drive and much of this can be credited to Roger Glover's production, which tempers the group's tendency to experiment with different musical styles by imposing an overall sound that play's up the group's hard rock edge. The end result is an album that rocks consistently throughout but works in intriguing musical elements to keep things interesting.

This CD invokes the presence of the divine mother. I listend to this CD while at a week long silent meditation retreat. It filled me with a gentle joy, peace and immense loving kindness. It is very calming, gentle and nurturing. It features the following songs: Ganesh Invocation, Devi Prayer and Lalitha Ashtotram, which is a Sanskrit mantra of the 108 sacred names of the mother divine. ~ Brad VanAuken

Their motto, "Peace is our Profession," belied the fact that they were in charge of weapons with the power to destroy the world many times over. With a staff of a quarter million people, the Strategic Air Command (SAC) was the key cog in America's Cold War military machine, overseeing the nation's entire nuclear arsenal from 1946 to 1992. MODERN MARVELS draws on interviews with past employees and visits to SAC sites to tell the story of this extraordinary system.

A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 21 November 1975 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen, it was reportedly the most expensive album ever recorded at the time of its release. Upon release, A Night at the Opera topped the UK Albums Chart for four non-consecutive weeks. It peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 and became the band's first platinum-certified album in the US. At the 19th Grammy Awards, it received Grammy Award nominations for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus and Best Arrangement for Voices. Retrospective reviews have hailed it as Queen's best album, and one of the greatest albums in rock music history. In 2020, Rolling Stone ranked it at number 128 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2018, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. This is the second edition of A Night At The Opera on DVD-A with, released a few months after the first edition, with slightly different artwork and 5.1 mix, under the guidance of Brian May who wasn't happy with the original 5.1 mix by Elliot Scheiner.

American expatriate Joe Dassin was one of France's most popular singers during the late '60s and '70s, initially building his name with stylized adaptations of folk and country material from his birthplace. As his career blossomed, Dassin turned increasingly to traditional-style chansons penned by some of the genre's best writers, scoring an all-time classic with his 1975 smash "L'Eté Indien." Notorious for his perfectionism, Dassin could play the introverted romantic, but his persona also played off of American archetypes and imagery. His premature death of a heart attack in 1980 robbed French pop of one of its greatest modern-day practitioners.

This is a generous selection of music from the chambers of the French mid Baroque‚ with pieces by two of its greatest masters – Marais and Sainte Colombe – alongside others by the lesser but still worthy Hotteterre and Montéclair‚ plus practically the only piece by Jacques Morel that ever gets played. The starting¬point seems to be the particular line up of Tientos‚ a Vienna based group distinguished by the fact that one of its number can double on recorder and viola da gamba.

Scars is a 2002 album by the Gary Moore-led blues rock group called Scars (not to be confused with the Edinburgh post-punk group called Scars). In 2002 Gary Moore decided to form a band with ex-Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis and Primal Scream drummer Darrin Mooney called Scars. Their studio album "Scars", released on September 2 on Sanctuary Records, includes compositions reminiscent of the sound of artists like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, in a modern way.
