Arild Brøter has unveiled “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Suite: Part 1,” the first single from his new album, A Spectre of Sounds: James Bond Music Reimagined. This suite comprises four themes from the film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”: the main theme, “Gumbold’s Safe,” “Over and Out,” and the iconic “James Bond Theme.” The track features an electric, uptempo arrangement with numerous twists, showcasing Brøter’s innovative approach.

Arild Brøter provided an interesting musical solo project released under the band moniker Pymlico. The music he writes can be described as instrumental, progressive with symphonic rock. Melodic, but with allot of different variations. Brøter has worked on this project for quite some time and the debut CD Inspirations was released in 2011. "Directions" is the second album by Pymlico. The music is still in the style of progressive rock, but includes some other flavours as well, like ambient music, world music and film music. The music is at times darker and more moody than on the first album, but there are still plenty of cheerfull melodic phrases.
Guiding Light is the third instrumental release from Arild Brøter's Pymlico outfit, where the main protagonist wrote, arranged and produced every note, as well as playing drums and keyboards on the finished pieces. However this is no vanity project, Brøter fully utilising the skills of another thirteen musicians to bring his creations to life; something they and he do extremely well…
