Provided via super-fast download, this instrument is essentially 10 high-resolution grand pianos in one.

Impact Soundworks has released version 2 of Pearl Concert Grand, a virtual piano instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt and the free Kontakt Player. This version features a total rewrite of the playback and performance engine along with new NKS support. There are now more options than ever for realistic pedaling and per-note tweaks.

German Baby Grand Piano from the Galaxy II Piano Collection. Galaxy II’s 1929 German Baby Grand is based on a Blüthner Model 150, built in 1929. This wonderful instrument blew us away, when we found it at a German piano maker. It’s a beautiful 75 year old grand piano, featuring a warm vintage sound with a wonderful intimate tone. Numerous great composers, conductors, and performers have owned Blüthner pianos, among them Bartok, Debussy or Tchaikovsky. Blüthners have also been used in pop music, including the Beatles’ album Let It Be, most notably in the hits ‘Let It Be’ and ‘The Long and Winding Road’.

Galaxy II’s Vienna Grand is comprised of sampling a BOESENDORFER IMPERIAL 290 grand piano. Established by Ignaz Bösendorfer in 1828, Bösendorfer is the oldest piano manufacturer still in production and has a history of constructing some of the worlds finest instruments. The Model 290 Imperial, a 9’6” grand piano, is famous for its powerful soundboard and its extended keyboard; going as far as a bottom C0, making a full eight octave range or 97 keys.

The 1971 Estonia Grand Piano is a comprehensively deep-sampled soviet-era Grand Piano. The Estonia Piano line is known as the secret Steinway of Eastern Europe – with a uniquely dark, emotional, and melancholic characteristic.

8Dio Studio Vintage Series represents the most comprehensively deep-sampled collection of vintage keyboards. The famous Yamaha CP-70 is no exception to extreme sampling. We sampled this legendary Electric Grand Piano in such detail that it will never need to be sampled again. 94.604 samples to be exact.
