4rd album by German hard rock band. ZAR was formed in the late '80s and featured ex-LUCIFER'S FRIEND and URIAH HEEP singer John Lawton as their frontman on highly acclaimed "Live Your Life Forever" debut album. In 1991 Lawton left to rejoin LUCIFER'S FRIEND for their comeback "Sumogrip" album. Thommy Bloch became the band's new vocalist. After releasing "The Holy Rhythm Of Nature" he went on with TAROT'S MYST.

Electric Food is the self-titled album of Electric Food, a studio project that included (uncredited) singer George Mavros with musicians from Lucifer's Friend that released two albums in 1970, the other being Flash. Flash is the second and final album by Electric Food. Soon after its release, the core of band formed Asterix and recorded one album: Asterix. Less than a year later Asterix would change their name to Lucifer's Friend. In 2004 Electric Food and Flash were released on one CD by Mason Records. Both Electric Food albums sound very similar to Lucifer's Friend's debut but include strong influences from Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, and Spooky Tooth.

13 years after their last album „Hard To The Beat“ the German Heavy Rock legends ZAR is back with a big bang. The album features mastermind and guitarist Tommy Clauss as the lead singer for the first time. The band recorded and produced an album with all typical ZAR trademarks. „Don’t Wait For Heroes“ was mastered by renowned Alexander Krull (ATROCITY, LEAVE’S EYES) in his Mastersound Studios.

GUNHILL is a band from the 90's which featured JOHN LAWTON, the former lead singer of URIAH HEEP. In June '97 their first CD "Nightheat" was released. Night Heat (or Nightheat) is a showcase of GunHill's musical and vocal talent, ranging from classic hard rock to fine ballads and can only further their popularity and prospects. OTR (On The Rocks) - Mamonama (2008) Music

In May 2006 Lawton joined forces with Dutch guitarist Jan Dumée (ex-Focus) to form the On The Rocks project. On The Rocks - "OTR" feature Brazilian musicians Ney Conceição on bass, Xande Figueiredo on drums and Marvio Ciribelli on keyboards. Lawton and Dumée wrote and recorded the tracks for the debut album "Mamonama", released in October 2008. OTR's debut album is home to ten tracks of classic rock coupled with some jazz influences that encapsulates various moods and expressions in an accessible package for all fans of melodic and classic rock.

One of the usual cases when the album cover is better then what's inside… But to be honest, this effort is a little better than the previous one. "Eagle's Flight" is a short bluesy number, on which Lawton sings only one half, giving us yet another chance to compare his (still) phenomenal set of pipes and just as phenomenal vocal style with the patetic singing of his successor. The Japanese version has a KILLER bonus track called "Didn't Know It Was Love".
