Soundway Records presents Ayo Manuel - 1983-1990, a collection of selected works by one of Nigeria’s DIY pioneers.

Folk-soul chanteuse Ayo is a Nigerian-German singer-songwriter. She uses the Yoruba translation Ayọ or Ayo. of her first name Joy. "Ticket To The World" is her fourth studio album. It was released on 7 October 2013. The album was produced by Jay Newland, who was also the producer of her first two albums, with musicians like Larry Campbell, Ira Coleman, Charles Haynes, Youssoupha and Clarence Greenwood (Citizen Cope), George Brenner (composer) and Glenn Patscha and Sherrod Barnes (ensemble).

His biggest hits include "Talk Dirty" and "Want To Want Me", "Savage Love" and of course "Whatcha Say" – the hit with which he made his breakthrough in 2009.
