At the height of a commercial teen pop explosion in the late '90s, the Backstreet Boys emerged at the top of the boy band pack alongside friendly rivals *NSYNC, quickly trailed by a crop of imitators. Their hybrid of R&B balladry, hip-hop, and dance pop initially found its greatest audience in Canada and Europe, while success in their native land didn't follow until mainstream pop hit it big on radio and MTV in America.

Christmas is set to come a little early in 2022 as the Backstreet Boys, one of the best-selling bands of all time, will release their highly anticipated Christmas album, "A Very Backstreet Christmas" (BMG), in October 2022.

The band was the first time in 10 years with the complete original cast on stage, including Ur-Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson, who was absent from the last tours. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson, known collectively as the BACKSTREET BOYS, celebrating this year its 20th anniversary on stage. Founded in Orlando, Florida in 1993, they can on countless hits like 'I Want It That Way', 'Everybody (Backstreets Back) "and" As Long As You Love Me' refer. More than 130 million albums sold worldwide, and she brought her success to them on April 22, 2013 a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

DNA is the ninth studio album by the Backstreet Boys. It was released on January 23, 2019 by RCA Records. The album will feature tracks written by Lauv, Andy Grammer, and Stuart Crichton. It was preceded by the singles "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", "Chances", "No Place", and will be supported by a world tour, the band's most expansive in 18 years, beginning on May 11, 2019, in Lisbon, Portugal, before visiting North America in July 2019. The album is their first on Sony Music Entertainment since In a World Like This (2013) which was released independently through BMG.
