Batman Soundtrack Prince

In 1989, Prince released the soundtrack to the film Batman starring Michael Keaton. This consists of the full length album plus three singles released in support of it: "Batdance", "Partyman", and "Scandalous", the latter released as The Scandalous Sex Suite. Warner Bros. Records did not released these on Prince's Paisley Park label due to the Batman trademark, a money tactic for DC Comics as well.

WaterTower Music is excited to announce the March 18 release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), which features a completely brand-new score to accompany Snyder’s vision for the film, created by Grammy nominated multi-platinum producer, musician, composer and educator Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, the upcoming Godzilla Vs. Kong).

"The Future" is a 1990 single by American singer Prince Rogers Nelson, who was better known under his first name, Prince. This was taken from the Batman soundtrack and features two remixes of songs from the album, done by Mark Moore and William Orbit. Warner Bros. were the label.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is a 2022 fantasy film directed by David Yates from a screenplay by J. K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. James Newton Howard was well-established as a keyboardist, songwriter, producer, and arranger in the realm of soft rock before he cemented his legacy as an A-list film and television composer during the '90s. Highlights of his rock resumé in the '70s and '80s had included touring and recording with Elton John and working on albums with the likes of Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, and Toto. After earning his first composing credit on the 1985 comedy Head Office, his first Academy Award nomination came with the 1991 drama The Prince of Tides. Known for delivering wistful chamber music, playful comedic fare, or alternatively ominous or high-octane orchestral music as called for, Howard became more and more in demand for the latter during the 2000s, due in part to his frequent collaborations with director M. Night Shyamalan.

One of the most prolific and influential film composers of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, Germany's Hans Zimmer began his music career in London, producing and playing synths for a variety of new wave and punk bands in the early 1980s. After founding a recording studio with film scorer Stanley Myers, their work on films such as 1985's My Beautiful Laundrette fused the traditional orchestral aesthetic of film composition with state-of-the-art electronics and proved influential on countless soundtracks to follow.

"Catwoman" is the debut single from Catherine "Cat" Glover, known on this under the mononym Cat. She was Prince's dancing partner from 1987-1989 and while she did rap and sing on his albums, she wouldn't releasing anything until she was away from Prince's camp. This was released by Red Dot via WEA Germany, around the time Prince came out with "Batdance".
