Mélissa Michelle Marjolec Laveaux is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist of Haitian descent signed to french No Format! label. Her music has been described as a mix of roots, folk, and blues using her signature percussive finger-style guitar and soulful vocal stylings. Her second full length album entitled "Dying Is a Wild Night", an excerpt from an Emily Dickinson quote: "Dying is a wild night and a new road".

There are countless intimate, fret-noise-fuelled records from singer-guitarists across the history of modern popular music, but solo piano and voice releases remain a comparative rarity - It's hard to imagine an artist better equipped to contribute to this canon than France-based singer, keyboardist, and composer Melissa Weikart.

Of What Remains is Montreal baritone saxophonist and bassoonist Melissa Pipe’s first release as a leader. It explores ideas around temporality: the shifting of time, form and being. The pieces form a whole, joining together fragmentation, symbiosis, distillation, evaporation, and transience, while looking at what is left behind, or what remains.
