Bernard Butler People Move on

'Good Grief' is the first new solo album in 25 years from songwriter and producer Bernard Butler. Between then and now, Butler had ventured into the world of pop songwriting and producing, including two seminal albums with folk musician Sam Lee, a Mercury nominated project with actor Jessie Buckley as well as working with Bert Jansch and Ben Watt From Everything But The Girl, The Libertines, Tricky and an eight-million selling, Grammy-winning record with Duffy. Of returning to solo work after two and a half decades, Butler says 'For a good while I was scarred and I was scared.

Two of the finest creatives from the UK and Ireland have teamed up to make a beautiful body of music entitled 'For All Our Days That Tear the Heart', released on 10th June 2022.

The acclaimed vocalist Cyrille Aimée explores the Sondheim songbook for her scintillating album, 'Move On: A Sondheim Adventure'. What began as a celebration of a legendary Broadway songwriter became a work of cathartic autobiography as one song after another captured her deepest personal feelings.

Living legend of the classic New Orleans piano tradition Henry Butler and prolific arranger and composer Steven Bernstein join forces on "Viper's Drag", leading the Hot 9 in a timeless romp through NOLA jazz with tunes by Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller and originals from Butler. Bernstein's unique arranging style shimmers on this record, bringing a contemporary approach to these historic jazz pieces and linking the past with the present - a gentle reminder that jazz is alive and kicking.
