IT is still possible to see where Caesar died. Alongside the Largo Argentina, in the area of Rome which lies opposite St. Peter's between the Corso and the river Tiber, stands a row of four temples of the republican era. Behind them, embedded in the later buildings of the Christian city, can be made out traces of a hall which was evidently part of a much larger complex.
