With shared love for the tradition of Renaissance and Folk-Rock music, legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and award-winning lyricist and singer Candice Night founded Blackmore’s Night in 1997. They have been enchanting audiences around the world ever since. After hitting off the celebrations for their 25th anniversary with a fully remixed edition of their debut album “Shadow Of The Moon” in 2023, this year Candice and Ritchie continue with the worldwide release of a very special edition of their acclaimed 3rd studio album “Fires At Midnight”. Many know her as the front woman of Blackmore's Night where for the past 18 years she has been performing the songs she has co-written with her husband, legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. With her 2nd solo offering, 'Starlight, Starbright', Night's vocal quality is richer than in years past, bringing you to a quiet and intimate place; a place of beauty and dreams, inspired by the birth of her children, Autumn (5) and Rory (3). 'I really felt just so completely full of love and part of this bigger picture, this miracle,' Night remembers. 'I wanted to sing to celebrate this incredible life that was occurring inside of me. I've never felt so spiritual.' On 'Starlight, Starbright' you will find new original melodies, some co-written and played with Ritchie Blackmore, some solo by Night.

The 2012 box set The Beginning contains the two studio albums from Richie Blackmore's Night – Shadow of the Moon and Under a Violet Moon – and it also has DVDs recorded on the supporting tours for the albums. The Shadow of the Moon DVD has highlights from the 1997-1998 tour and the Under a Violet Moon DVD from 2000, and while both are certainly of interest to the hardcore, the less dedicated may be tempted by the set as a whole…
