This deluxe edition features the original album plus 11 bonus tracks, including three new unreleased originals; three live in-studio versions (“Colors,” “Oct 33,” “Confines”); a live version of “Know You Better” recorded at C-Boys Heart & Soul, the Austin club where the band first made a name for itself; and covers of the Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby,” Death’s “Politicians in My Eyes,” Bobby “Blue” Bland’s “Ain’t No Love in the Heart of the City,” and Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”

Moving in Blue is a double disc collection of works executed over a period of more than a decade. Originally a bid to reform the old BP, it features Roy Blumenfeld on several cuts but is not a reformed Blues Project. Whats it is is a raw and earthy set of 21 standards and 4 of Kalb's own. Please note that his fame grounds in guitar bravura, not the man's voice…though the same is said of Dylan, Cash, and others: they'd never qualify to step foot inside the opera house but would probably never want to, either. Danny's no different, and, when you lay an ear to his version of Hooker's Louise, it's plain this is a good thing. Pavarotti'd make nothing but a mess of such work. That historied guitar playing, though, is plentiful, well versed in the Chicago tradition, and brings back Kalb's and the Blues Project's heyday, the era when he was cheek to jowl with John Cippolina, Mike Bloomfield, Buddy Guy, Harvey Mandel, even Tom Rapp ('cause there's a decent slice of folk here as well, as in his own cleverly titled Mournin' at Midday), and a stellar array of down-lo bad boys that, to this hour, remain, as Howie Solomon averred, at the top of the lists.

Released in 1994 and curated by Joe Boyd, the 16-track collection Way to Blue held true to its claim as An Introduction to Nick Drake. Though largely unknown during his lifetime and brief career, the beguiling English folksinger ascended to a kind of romantic cult hero in the two decades following his 1974 death. His name was known among artists and hardcore record collectors and thanks to Boyd's Hannibal Records label, his three lone albums along with the essential 1986 rarities disc Time of No Reply were all back in print. Artists like R.E.M., the Cure, and the Dream Academy had all cited him as an influence in the mid-'80s, but it really wasn't until the '90s that his gentle, austere music began to achieve the legendary status that it would enjoy well into the 21st century. A handful of other Nick Drake compilations had existed before this one, but Way to Blue remains the definitive primer for aspiring and casual fans.

Nightmare (ナイトメア Naitomea) is a Japanese visual kei rock band from Sendai. Formed on January 1, 2000, it has consisted of Yomi (lead vocals), Sakito (lead guitar & backing vocals), Hitsugi (rhythm guitar), Ni~ya (bass & backing vocals) and Ruka (drums & percussion) for the majority of their career. They enjoyed mainstream success with the inclusion of their songs "The World" and "Alumina" in the Death Note anime and are considered a major act in the visual kei scene.
