The CD contains a selection out of the rich repertoire of the trio, full of musical explorations, neo-lyricism, sound investigations, dribble-swing, hard-core poetry, phonic fantasies, and amongst others, an enjoyable warm ballad.

Originally released in April 1991 on the Circa imprint via Virgin Records, Blue Lines was an unprecedented mixture of breakbeats, sampling and live instrumentation with vocal styles ranging from soulful female to gritty rapping. With influences as diverse as soul, punk, reggae, dub, lover s rock, electro and hip hop, Blue Lines was truly groundbreaking, and remains one of the most unique and influential British albums ever made.

"Blue Lines" is the landmark debut by trip-hop band, Massive Attack. Rolling Stone declared the album “one of the most influential records of the Nineties”. It is a stylish combination of rap, dub and soul. Included on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”, the masterpiece includes the massive hit “Safe from Harm”. It is featured on various "Best Of" lists including Spin, Q, NME and Vibe.

Blue Öyster Cult is an American rock band from Long Island, New York, whose most successful work includes the hard rock and heavy metal songs "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You". The band has sold over 24 million records worldwide, including 7 million records in the United States alone. Because of their unique sound and diversity, Blue Öyster Cult has been influential to many modern bands that span many genres, and are often viewed as important pioneers of several different styles of rock music that came to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s.

Secret Treaties is the third studio album by the American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released in 1974. Secret Treaties is regarded by many fans and critics alike as Blue Öyster Cult's best album. The album spent 14 weeks in the US album charts, peaking at No. 53. It was declared gold in 1992. In 1975, a poll of critics of the British magazine Melody Maker voted Secret Treaties as the "Top Rock Album of All Time". In 2010, Rhapsody (online music service) called it one of the all-time best "proto-metal" albums. The cover, with art by Ron Lesser, depicts the band standing beside and sitting on and besides a German Me262 fighter aircraft; this scene is inspired by the song of the same name.

Fire Of Unknown Origin is the 1981 album by Blue Öyster Cult. This features the massive hit "Burnin' For You", plus "Veteran Of The Psychic Wars", "Heavy Metal: The Black And Silver" and "Joan Crawford." This is the second CD pressing, with the "triangle in circle" below the "Compact Disc Digital Audio" logo on the right side of the disc. This was released most likely in 1989 on Columbia, perhaps in 1990.
