Concord Music Group continues its Stax Remastered series with the release of Booker T. & the MGs’ 1962 masterpiece, "Green Onions". The record has been remastered by legendary engineer Joe Tarantino and remains one of the most exciting instrumental recordings of all time. "Green Onions" features the classic line-up of Booker T. Jones, Steve Cropper, Al Jackson, Jr. and Lewis Steinberg. “Green Onions” is included on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”.

Released in January 1970, this legendary R&B recording is a tribute to The Beatles' Abbey Road. The MGs infuse the songs with their unmatchable musicianship and tight, funky grooves, resulting in one of their greatest recordings. About as original as an album of covers gets!

Cropper and Dunn went on to fame again with the Blues Brothers movie, albums and touring band of the same name. Al Jackson died far too soon. Melting Pot is a return of the 1971 set they cut for Stax and adds to the legacy of fine albums once again in catalogue.
