German power metal band BRAINSTORM proudly announces the release of their new album, „Midnight Ghost“, scheduled for release on September 28th. The band‘s already 12th studio album is seemingly forging into something very special. Vocalist Andy B. Franck comments: "„Midnight Ghost“ is the album we always wanted to create for our fans – and ourselves. Every song, the sound, the cover artwork… it feels perfect to us! It all has such an incredible power, which is hard to describe. For me it’s definitely one of our best albums and I’m confident that we can reach a new Brainstorm level with „Midnight Ghost“ now. We can’t wait to bring this to the stages!“ „Midnight Ghost“ was produced by Seeb Levermann (Orden Ogan, Rhapsody Of Fire), the cover artwork was created by Gyula Havancsak (Annihilator, Stratovarius).
Four Shores (released March 2006) is an album from the Latvian band Brainstorm. It is the fourth album by the band in English and follows the Latvian version of this album Četri krasti, which was released in May 2005. The album contains 12 songs, from which 10 are in English and 2 in Russian. The lead single of this album "Thunder without Rain" became popular in Eastern Europe and video of this song had a heavy airplay on MTV Europe and European VH1. In late 2006, "Tin Drums" reached the #1 position in the MTV Baltic Charts. A video has also been shot for the song "Lonely Feeling". "Lonely Feeling" is dedicated to the Swedish actress Greta Garbo.
Metal Blade released Just Highs No Lows (12 Years of Persistence), a 2-CD compilation of Brainstorm hits and rarities. This is the band's final release on the Metal Blade label and this 32-track compilation pulls 4+ selections from each of the five albums that the band recorded for Metal Blade between 2000 - 2008 along with eight rarities.
