If you're a died-in-the-tie-dye fan, you've probably already heard a tape of this show and will be pleased to know that here it sounds amazing; the entire three hour performance is included, mixed and mastered off of original 16-track live master recordings. If you're not already a Deadhead, Live at the Cow Palace: New Years Eve 1976 is an excellent encapsulation of mid '70s Dead. Recorded in-between 1975's invigorating Blues for Allah and 1977's dreadfully myopic Terrapin Station, it's eminently preferable to the live album Steal Yr Face, and goes a long way towards showing that the critically-maligned Godchaux era had a lot going for it. A few of the songs lumber a bit, but there's a real funkiness and versatility to this segment of the band's career that they never really had at any other time. Several stages of the band's career converge, such that the elastically funky version of the late '70s Dead, the almost jazz-fusion Dead of the early '70s, and the soft cowboy folk sound of 1970 of are all here. Live At Racket, NYC features seven tracks the band performed at the intimate launch event on October 19, 2023, with debut live performances of “Angry,” “Bite My Head Off,” “Whole Wide World,” and “Sweet Sounds of Heaven (with Lady Gaga).” Previously only available as a bonus disc on the 2 CD Live Edition of Hackney Diamonds, the band’s first studio album of new material since 2005. Available on 180g heavyweight solid white vinyl for Record Store Day 2024.

Recorded at the Famous Ballroom, Baltimore, Maryland on November 11, 1973. Limited-edition, 180-gram 2-LP set with audio transferred from the original tape reels and mastered by Bernie Grundman. The back of the jacket states Limited-Edition Pressing of 2500. US RSD site identifies this as a 'RSD First' Release with Quantity: 1800.

Double album featuring live performances by The Beatles, recorded in late December 1962 at the Star-Club during their final Hamburg residency. The performances were recorded on a home tape machine using a single microphone - resulting in a low fidelity recording. Ted "Kingsize" Taylor began to investigate possible marketing of the tapes in 1973. The tapes were eventually bought by Paul Murphy and subjected to extensive audio processing to improve the sound, leading to the 1977 album.
The album provides historic insight into the group's club act in the period after Ringo Starr joined but before the emergence of Beatlemania. The Beatles were unsuccessful in legally blocking the initial release of the album; the recordings were reissued in many forms until 1998, when The Beatles were awarded full rights to the performances.

Acoustic Disc has announced the release of Doc Watson & David Grisman, Doc & Dawg Live at Town Hall in download format only. On October 22, 1998, Arthel "Doc" Watson and David "Dawg" Grisman played two sets to a sold-out house at New York's legendary Town Hall. Fortunately, the music was well recorded by Dawg sound engineer Larry Cumings and released here for the first time. As guitarist Jack Lawrence, who also played in the concert, put it, "This recording from Town Hall is a prime example of the Doc & Dawg experience. In a setting as comfortable as our own homes we delivered two sets of honest, organic music. Here we have three friends enjoying each other’s company and playing music for the sheer joy of it. We never thought to approach it any other way."
