Brazen Amd The Beasy

Originally released in 1996, Eye of the Storm was the second album from Brazen Abbot, the melodic rock group formed by ex-Baltimoore guitarist Nikolo Kotzev. Kotzev was always more than just a superb guitarist, as his songwriting and keyboard playing in Brazen Abbot clearly proves. For the band's second incarnation, Kotzev and Europe members Ian Haughland and Mic Michaeli are joined by fellow bassist Jon Leven, another Europe alum.

“Eye of the Storm” is the second album from the studio project masterminded by the multi-talented Bulgarian guitarist and producer Nikolo Kotzev, together with three members from the original EUROPE line-up and a set of singers second to none. Released originally in 1996 on the german label USG Records, “Eye of the Storm” sees the addition of the awesome singer Joe Lynn Turner to the line-up. His influence is particularly evident on songs like "Twist of Fate", "Line of Fire", and "Road to Hell", while the Europe influence can be found in “Wake Up Everybody”, with a great vocal performance from Thomas Vikström. Former Malmsteen singer Göran Edman also appears on lead vocals stamping his mark especially on the power-ballad “Everything's Gonna Be Allright”.

This was first time I’d ever heard of Eyes of The Blind and heard their music and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Fans of both hard rock and metal will find a lot to like about the band’s debut full-length Post Human Existence, so let’s get to it!

Recorded live to tape in just 5 days by venerated underground engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Shellac, Pixies) "24-7 Rock Star Shit" marks a return to the bands early roots with it's raw, rough-around-the-edges approach and sonic aggression. Originally conceived during recording sessions for the bands fifth album "In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull" these recordings were elevated to qua-si-mythical status amongst the bands famously dedicated fan-base, with ex-citement building for a "punk album" flipside to 2015's more pop-leaning "For All My Sisters". Originally intended as an EP, once sessions were completed the band found that they had recorded enough material for an album and decided it should be released that way instead.

The Crackers EP Vol. 1 is an extended play by Mark Woodford, a producer known as The Audible Doctor, a member of the Brown Bag Allstars. Not much is known other than this was released on his own AMD Music label.
