The Best of Bread, is the single-disc collection of Bread's hits, spanning 12 tracks, including lesser-known hits that didn't reach the heights of "Make It With You", "Everything I Own", "If", or "Baby I'm a Want You". Though this isn't as comprehensive as Rhino's previous double-disc set – which means it doesn't contain the David Gates solo cuts that the first one does – it still provides most casual listeners with all the Bread they'd need, in a highly listenable fashion, too.

Rockin' takes The Guess Who into a new direction in 1972 primarily featuring the songwriting of Burton Cummings, striding away from their bread and butter Top 40 hit parade. But this album never received the same level of notoriety as the first four Guess Who albums, including the first one without Randy Bachman, Share the Land. This strange exercise has its best parts showing up on The Best of the Guess Who, Vol. 2, which is now restored on Hybrid Quad SACD from the original masters by Michael J. Dutton.

Ravi Coltrane - Mad 6 (2002) [Japan]
SACD Rip | SACD ISO | DSD64 2.0 > 1-bit/2.8224 MHz | 50:44 minutes | Front/Rear Covers | 1,56 GB
or FLAC Stereo (converted with foobar2000 to tracks) 24bit/96 kHz | Front/Rear Covers | 1,2 GB

A saxophonist whose patiently evolving style has been one of the more interesting stories in contemporary jazz, Ravi Coltrane helps launch Columbia's Eighty-Eights subsidiary (founded by Japanese producer Yasohachi "88" Itoh) with a set that is by turns more freewheeling and lyrical than his previous major label efforts. Featuring two bands–one with George Colligan on piano and the other Andy Milne–Mad 6 reflects Ravi's involvement in both jazz classicism and the throbbing, funkified bop of Brooklyn's M-Base school.
