VizzTone is proud to announce the April 15, 2022 release of Established 1972 by The Nighthawks, an album that represents 50 years of Washington DC’s road warriors going strong.

The Interrupters are the newest signing to Tim Armstrong's Hellcat Records, releasing their debut self-titled album. Fronted by singer-songwriter Aimee Allen, the Los-Angeles based ska band began working with Armstrong on his popular Tim Timebomb series of singles. (Before that, Allen sang background vocals on the Armstrong-produced Grammy-winning Jimmy Cliff album Rebirth). Steeped in ska, reggae, and punk, Allen and the Interrupters bring a sly sense of humor to their music and lyrics on songs like "White Noise" and "Liberty". With extensive national touring planned behind the new album, the Interrupters will be bringing their brand of noise to a waiting world.

Leading an all-star big band composed of some of the most talent musicians from the new breed of the French jazz scene, composer and arranger Laurent Cugny is back leading a new orchestra to celebrate the spirit and the music of his mentor, the legendary Gil Evans. Bringing back to the light some of Evans’ classics as well as interpreting new arrangements especially written for that band, Cugny releases a stunning double album which confirms that, 30 years after their collaboration, he is the principal disciple of Miles Davis’ most famous arranger.

Bringing Down the Horse is the second album by the American rock band The Wallflowers. It was released worldwide on May 21, 1996. The album was produced by T-Bone Burnett and features hits such as "One Headlight", "6th Avenue Heartache", "The Difference", and "Three Marlenas".

As part of the mid-'90s revival of roots-rock, the Wallflowers held a special connection to one of the original inspirations: vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Jakob Dylan. Though he is the son of a legend, Jakob's similarities to his father are occasional – in fact, the Wallflowers are more influenced by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers than original '60s folk-rock, though lyrically, Jakob remains a close companion to the original Dylan. Red Letter Days is fourth album by The Wallflowers.

When Carla, Nick and I has completed our previous work “The Scale” in 2021, I felt this was such a unique work in its scope and feel – prog, pop, abstraction and chanson – that it would be very difficult to follow up such a definitive statement.

One of the handsome guys of the music scene is almost back. The Killers‘ frontman, American musician, singer, songwriter and lyricist Brandon Flowers has started the hype, and we are so ready for this. Flowers highly-anticipated second solo album “The Desired Effect“, is 80s-inspired and features Bruce Hornsby, Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant, and a Bronski Beat sample. It was entirely produced by hitmaker and ‘co-captain’ Ariel Rechtshaid, and is “definitely going to be different” from the sound of his solo debut “Flamingo“, released in 2010. The album will also feature drumming by Kenny Aronoff and horns by Ron Francis Blake.

A prolific keyboardist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Culbertson is known for his many crossover albums, which find him touching upon jazz, funk, pop, and new age. Culbertson first broke through with 1997's Secrets, which reached number 15 on the contemporary jazz chart. He has released a series of Top Five jazz albums, including 1999's Somethin' Bout Love, for Warner Bros. and 2001's Nice & Slow for Atlantic. He also topped the same chart with 2005's It's on Tonight, 2008's Bringing Back the Funk, and 2010's XII.
