Get Up is the thirteenth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, released physically in Australia and New Zealand on October 2 and worldwide on October 16, 2015 by Universal Music. Produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne and co-written with his long-time collaborator Jim Vallance, the album features nine new songs and four acoustic versions (total 13 tracks). The first song released was a video of "You Belong to Me". It was shot and directed by Adams using his black and white photography style, with only his guitar and “a muse” to assist him.

Bryan Adams With his powerfully raspy voice and T-shirt and blue jeans classic rock swagger, Bryan Adams is a pop icon who has scored hit after hit, attaining global fame in the 1980s. A rising star in his native Canada beginning in the late '70s, he first made headway with his 1983 album Cuts Like a Knife. However, it was 1984's Reckless that turned him into an international sensation thanks to the hits "Run to You," "Heaven," and "Summer of '69." From that point on, Adams sold out arenas (much like his contemporaries Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp) and broke chart records, as with his 1991 power ballad "Everything I Do (I Do It for You)." He continued this success with 1994's "All for Love" and 1995's "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman," and remained a formidable presence on the American charts with albums like 1991's Waking Up the Neighbours and 1996's 18 Til I Die. The famous member of Monty Python lent his voice in the introduction of Kick Ass, one of the 12 songs of this fifteenth album of the Canadian singer. Parodying the sermon of a preacher, the comedian recounts that an angel dressed in boots and blue jeans was sent to earth to spread the good word of rock'n'roll. Through all these titles in which the adverb "Up" ("up; standing") appears many times, Bryan Adams has only one goal: to pull listeners up, after a period of pandemic which hardly seems to have achieved it.
