Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a brand new 2CD deluxe anthology of the complete recordings by the legendary C.C.S. Formed in 1970, C.C.S. (Collective Consciousness Society) was the brainchild of musician and arranger John Cameron, guitarist Alexis Korner (the father of British Blues) and producer MIckie Most. The group was initially conceived as a recording band only, but following the success of their legendary cover version of Led Zeppelin’s "Whole Lotta Love” (used as the theme for "Top of the Pops” for many years) and "Tap Turns on the Water”, the band also undertook live work. C.C.S. featured the cream of jazz and blues talent such as flautist Harold McNair, bass players Herbie Flowers and Spike Heatley, sax players Tony Coe and Ron Ross, trumpet players Henry Lowther, Kenny Wheeler and Harold Beckett and drummers Barry Morgan and Tony Carr. Between 1970 and 1973 C.C.S. released three albums and seven singles for RAK Records, with one album and four singles all reaching the UK Top Forty.

This book introduces the scientific basis and engineering practice for CO2 storage, covering topics such as storage capacity, trapping mechanisms, CO2 phase behaviour and flow dynamics, engineering and geomechanics of geological storage, injection well design, and geophysical and geochemical monitoring. It also provides numerous examples from the early mover CCS projects, notably Sleipner and Snøhvit offshore Norway, as well as other pioneering CO2 storage projects.

CCS was the first studio album of the British blues outfit Collective Consciousness Society, led by guitarist Alexis Korner. To avoid confusion with the group's second album with the same name, the album is often called "Whole Lotta Love", due to the inclusion of the Led Zeppelin song. German reissue of the UK rock act's 1970 album includes their version of the Led Zeppelin classic, 'Whole Lotta Love' & four bonus tracks, 'Walking', 'Salome', 'Tap Turns On The Water' & 'Save The World'.

CCS or C.C.S. (short for COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUNESS SOCIETY) made 3 studio albums and 7 singles for Mickie Most's RAK Records in the UK in the early Seventies, before the band finally split up in late 1973. This fantastically clear-sounding Repertoire CD from 2000 is the second of those three albums - supplemented with two rare and desirable B-sides as bonus tracks.

The Best Band in the Land is the third and final studio album of Collective Consciousness Society. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, January to May 1973 and released in September that year. It includes covers of songs by The Kinks and Cream amongst others, but unlike their first album it mostly features original compositions. The style continues that of their previous two albums, with heavy rock and blues songs arranged with jazz instruments.

CCS are best known for the single 'Whole Lotta Love' which was used as the Top Of The Pops theme throughout the 70s. The band featured blues legend Alex Korner. This is the first CCS album to bring all of their singles together. Including 2 tracks that have never been released.
