After 5 records with the label and nine #1 Billboard singles, trumpeter Cindy Bradley still has no peers. Still to this date the only female smooth jazz trumpet player with the arena all to herself. With 'Promise' Bradley's 6th project for smooth jazz powerhouse Trippin N Rhythm Records, Cindy sequestered with mega producer Greg Manning for a change of pace and has delivered an engaging top to bottom collaboration that showcases the many sides and facets of this talented lady. Leading off early with her first single Bradley followed suit from previous records and scored another Billboard #1 with the lead single Drive, an infectious, driving compelling jam that set the table for what's next to come from her first foray working with Manning.

Although it has been clearly established for which instruments the Musical Offering and the Art of Fugue were intended, the Musical Offering has continued to be the object of realisations for other instruments, such as Anton Webern's orchestrated version of the Ricercar à 6. Here Cindy Castillo marks the completion of a new organ in the German baroque style by Dominique Thomas in the church of Saint-Loup in Namur with her own realisation of this work, a monument to the late Baroque style.

This is Cindy Bullens' first solo album from 1978. She started as a back-up singer for Elton John and toured with him several times. She then was featured on the Grease soundtrack performing several songs that won her an Grammy nomination. Desire Wire is an album that reflects many of her Grease roots as a singer/songwriter and
a soulful rock icon. This collection of songs has more hooks than a fisherman's cap. There are several hard rockin' tunes, i.e. Survivor, High School History, and Finally Rockin' most noticeably. The other songs are slower but are real heart-string tuggers, i.e. Desire Wire, Knee Deep In Love. This album gained her another Grammy nomination. Her next two albums echoed the feel of Desire Wire and were released in 1981 and 1986, both are great, if you can find them. Neither has been issued on CD to my knowledge. Her albums after that are more folk than rock and her new group, The Refugees, while very good, are just not my style. If you like rock from the late seventies, pick up this hidden diamond for your enjoyment!
