The music that Bohren makes has fallen under the heavy metal/doom rubric, but this is both inaccurate and unfair to the band and its music. Kasabian is the debut studio album by British rock band Kasabian, released on 6 September 2004. Four singles were released from the album; the highest chart position on the UK Album Chart was number 4. Like the kid brothers of the Cooper Temple Clause more interested in reviving the sound of the Stones Roses' anthemia 'Begging You' than tweaking their well coiffeured heads, Kasabian blast through thirteen tracks on their debut, self-titled album like a gang of pumped up storm-troopers with a penchant for aggro. Kasabian are as cocky as Oasis, as party-inducing as the Mondays & as inventive as Primal Scream, in short they are set to be huge. Stay out of their line of fire though, 'cause these boys have a deadly arsenal. The UK limited edition version is a double-sided DualDisc and has a glow-in-the-dark cover.
