Sounds From Jamdown is a reflection on the journey Mista Savona has had over the past 2 years. Releasing the seminal album collaboration 'Born A King’ in 2014, with iconic Jamaican singer Sizzla, shifted his world further into performing and recording non stop. Mista Savona has gone on to perform at festivals globally including stops at Symbiosis Gathering (California), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Boom (Portugal), Glastonbury (UK) and even playing before Damian Marley to a massive crowd at Boomtown Fair 2016 (UK).

Katie Derham introduces this year's traditional spectacular concert from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in the gardens of Schonbrunn Palace. There's a distinctly French flavour to the evening with music from Bizet, Berlioz, Poulenc and Ravel, and a special appearance from the world-renowned French piano duo the Labeque sisters. The concert is conducted for the first time by Semyon Bychkov who, though Russian-born, is an honorary Frenchman on account of his being married to Marielle Labeque.

Gertrude Lowthian Bell, sometimes called the "female" Lawrence of Arabia was a British adventurer, archaeologist and political powerhouse, who helped shape the modern Middle East after World War I. The film chronicles Bell's journey into the uncharted Arabian desert and all-male halls of colonial power with never-seen-before archival footage of the region shot a century ago. The film takes us into a past that is eerily current.
