One of Kenya’s leading guitarists Jack Muguna has announced the release of his first full album project! Aptly titled Journey of the Soul, this album bridges the gap between the jazz, the African sound, paying homage to the origins of the African Jazz guitar while simultaneously heralding new directions.

Pilgrimage of the Soul is the 11th studio album in the 22-year career of Japanese experimental rock legends, MONO. Recorded and mixed – cautiously, anxiously, yet optimistically – during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in the summer of 2020, Pilgrimage of the Soul is aptly named as it not only represents the peaks and valleys where MONO are now as they enter their third decade, but also charts their long, steady journey to this time and place.

Liana Flores is a London-based English-Brazilian singer-songwriter influenced by Bossa Nova, '60s British folk, and the Romantic poets, calling to mind artists from Nick Drake and Astrud Gilberto to contemporaries like Laufey and Faye Webster.

“Recording the complete Preludes is like painting notes with an unlimited palette of sound!” writes pianist Fanny Azzuro in the notes to her debut album for Rubicon. “Playing this music is exhilarating. Fanny Mendelssohn, a “sister of the Muses” has her mother would call her, was a 19th -century wife, mother and carer, but also made her own musical path and became of one the most important pianists of her time, composing over 400 pieces.
