Catch Up With The Blues is an album by Johnny Copeland released in 1994 on Verve Records. It was recorded April 27–30 and May 1–3, 1993 at Kiva Recording Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. The album was produced by John Snyder (Producer), and Jay Newland (Associate Producer). The album features Copeland on Rhythm and Lead Guitar and Vocals, along with Richard Ford (Steel Guitar), "Sonny Boy" Terry (Harmonica), Floyd Phillips (Piano), Bobby Kyle (Rhythm and Lead Guitar), Mabon "Teenie" Hodges (Rhythm Guitar), Randy Lee Lippincott (Bass), Barry Harrison (Drums), Robert Hall (Tambourine), Jaqueline Johnson and Jacquelyn Reddick (Background Vocals), and The Memphis Horns (Wayne Jackson on Trumpet and Trombone, and Andrew Love on Tenor Saxophone).

This three-leaf clover met as members of Max Greger Sr. his orchestra in the early 70's. Greger junior previously studied at the Munich Academy of Music and was a fan of Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner. Over the years, he has even played with international jazz greats such as Ack van Rooyen, Benny Bailey and Herb Geller (and wasted his time with schmaltz-delivering Peter Herbolzheimer and Udo Jürgens). The Swiss Charly Antolini studied in his hometown of Zurich and has over the years played with Wolfgang Dauner, Barbara Dennerlein, Art Farmer, Dusko Goykovich, Albert Mangelsdorf, Nils Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Baden Powell and a number of others. Milan Pilar first studied at home in Prague and later in Munich.

Catch the Catch is the debut album by pop singer C. C. Catch, released on April 28, 1986. The album consists of euro disco and synthpop songs. It includes the major Top 10 European pop hits "I Can Lose My Heart Tonight", "'Cause You Are Young" and "Strangers By Night". Born Caroline Catharina Müller in the Netherlands, she moved with her family to Germany in the late '70s. In 1980, she became a member of the girl quartet Optimal, who issued two singles. During one of the band's concerts in Hamburg, she was approached by songwriter/producer Dieter Bohlen who had just taken the continental charts by storm with his duo Modern Talking. She signed up with Bohlen who then changed her stage name to C.C. Catch, and the debut single of the newly christened singer – "I Can Lose My Heart Tonight" – was released in the summer of 1985. Her collaboration with Bohlen lasted until 1989, resulted in four albums and 12 singles, and made C.C. Catch a queen of continental discos.
