Nominated for PROG magazine's Limelight award for best new band, cinematic New York-based prog rockers Circuline have managed to gather an impressive all-star line-up of SEVEN guest guitarists on their latest release "Counterpoint", including members of Enchant, Happy the Man, Renaissance, and Sound of Contact. Circuline performed at the 13th International Rites of Spring festival (RoSfest), Philadelphia's Liberty Music Fest, Chicago's Progtoberfest, New Jersey's ProgStock, and has toured England opening for IO Earth.

Welcome to "Postcards", the latest mix of modern day progressive music that is issue 79 of Prog Magazine's cover disc. Plenty of recognisable names are on offer this month. There's brand new music from UK prog rockers Threshold featuring new (or rather returned) vocalist Glynn Morgan, more ebullient grooves from Amplifier's hot new platter "Trippin' With Dr Faustus" and ex-Touchstone singer Kim Seviour makes her first solo forays with "Call To Action". There's also classy new Magenta music from "We Are Legend" in the form of "Trojan", the return of US proggers Discipline and fellow US proggers Circuline, who recently made their first trip to the UK for dates with IO Earth…

There's brand new Voyager, Big Big Train, Goldray, White Willow and Ayreon, all featuring highly anticipated tracks from their latesr releases. We also feature a track from Arkansas-based band Pallbearer. Traditionally known as a doom band, their love of progressive rock has seen them expand their sound on new album Heartless, hense the inclusion of "I Saw The End" on this CD. And of course there's Damanek, the project featuring Guy Manning, Sean Timms, Luke Machin, Dan Mash and Marek Arnold. "Long Time Shadow Falls" does not disappoint.
