Unplugged 1994 Previously Unreleased Second Night Following years of public speculation, the Eagles formally reunited in 1994, 14 years after splitting up in 1980. The line-up comprised the five Long Run-era members - Glen Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Don Felder, and Timothy B. Schmit - supplemented by Scott Crago (drums), John Corey (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), Timothy Drury (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), and Al Garth (sax, violin) on stage. For the record, we never broke up, we just took a 14-year vacation , announced Frey at their first live performance in April 94. The ensuing tour spawned the live album, Hell Freezes Over (named for Henley's recurring statement that the group would get back together when hell freezes over ), which debuted at number one on the Billboard album chart.

Nikolaus Harnoncourt The Complete Sony Recordings brings together for the first time Harnoncourt s complete recordings from 2002-2015 with his Concentus Musicus Wien, the Wiener Philharmonike, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the Symphonieorchester des Bayrischen Rundfunks. The Sony Classical edition features his famous symphony recordings of Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and Bruckner, alongside his celebrated performances of great choral works such as the Verdi, Brahms and Mozart Requiems and Haydn's Die Schöpfung, as well as Mozart's opera Zaide, Haydn's Orlando paladino and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. Also included are previously authorized but unreleased recordings of J. S. Bach s Cantatas Nos. 26 & 36, Beethoven's Christus am Ölberge and Dvorák's Stabat Mater.

Ferlin Husky shares billing on his volume of Bear Family's ongoing rockabilly and country-boogie series, Gonna Shake This Shack Tonight, with Simon Crum and Terry Preston – two aliases he adopted in the thick of and at the start of his career, respectively. Unlike Collectors' Choice Music's 2002 collection Country Music Is Here to Stay, the focus of this 2016 set is not on the novelties of Simon Crum. Instead, this rounds up 32 sides Husky recorded in any incarnation, with the uniting factor being its swing.

One of the most influential figures in country music history, the great Porter Wagoner was an artist ahead of his time. In 1952, signed a contract with RCA and developed a unique style of performance and produced a wealth of outstanding Country. This release puts together two of Porter Wagoner's finest LPs, the long unavailable: A Slice of Life's Happy 'n' Sad (1962) and his debut Satisfied Mind (1957). Two classic easy-listening albums by Paul Mauriat and His Orchestra, originally released in 1970 on the Philips label, together on one CD and remastered from the original analogue stereo tapes for Vocalion's trademark crystal-clear sound. French composer/conductor Paul Mauriat is a classically trained musician who decided to pursue a career in popular music. His first major success came in 1962, as a co-writer of the European hit "Chariot." In 1963, the song was given English lyrics, renamed "I Will Follow Him," and became a number one American hit for Little Peggy March. Mauriat is best remembered for his 1968 worldwide smash "Love Is Blue."

For more than three decades, beginning in the mid-’70s, he was an integral component of the Pat Metheny Group, as keyboardist, composer and arranger; released a handful of well-regarded solo albums; and served as sideman to a number of high-profile artists. But for more than a decade now it’s been radio silence.
