2012 three CD set, the seventh volume in the So80s series, this time with an Ibiza theme. Blank & Jones searched for the biggest anthems of this magic island during the 1980s. Long time before mass clubbing started on Ibiza in the 1990s, there was a true musical melting pot creating it's very own soundtrack. The legendary KU (now known as Privilege), the Amnesia or Pacha were all hot spots for the Jet Set of the beautiful, the rich and the famous. Here comes the soundtrack for this special time with the whole range from Wham!, Sandy Marton, Bandolero and Lime, but also with the secret anthems of Ibiza like Flash & the Pan, Tullio de Piscopo, Art of Noise, Carly Simon an Tony Esposito. Celebrate the Sound of Ibiza in the 80s with Blank & Jones!

The early days of the Kinks saw a band run ragged by the onset of newfound superstardom. The Kinks hit the ground running at an exhausting pace in 1964, with a relentless schedule of touring, recording, and various on-air interviews and performances that would keep them in the charts and jet-lagged until an eventual slowing down into the '70s and '80s…
2012 three CD collection from Blank & Jones. After the success of the So8os compilation it was about time to bring u another exciting decade… the 90's! The concept of So9os is a bit different from So8os. When they got deeper into it, they saw how diversified the '90s were, with a lot of different musical genres. So they decided to dig deeper and find out which songs still sound fresh after 20 years and really have a great production. They also decided to keep the whole dance music explosion from 1995 onwards aside. Not just keep their own career as musicians and producers aside, but also not to focus on only one musical genre. The first So9os release includes some massive tunes from Enigma, Simply Red, Seal, Duran Duran, New Order and many others.
For a prog fan, Lalle Larsson (Lars-Egon Larsson, born in 1974 in Malmö) is perhaps the best known as a keyboard player from Swedish Symphonic giants Karmakanic. He also played in 3rd World Electric, Electrocution 250, and had collaborated with The Alchemists and Virgil Donati; to name only a few. However, from 1994 up to this day he had released a handful of albums - all eclectic in nature and worth checking. This Scandinavian soul is deeply rooted in fusion, coloring with strong shades of various Western Academic musics, a teaspoon (or more) of avantgarde approach - and of course, with a pretentious (in a good sense) bow to his old love, heavy metal…
