This CD is a collection of music that is the result of a series of unprecedented circumstances… their situation in lock-down. No concerts, no gigs… Out of this misfortune a thought occurred to Adrian that a recording could be made with all his musicians from remote locations, in New York and Spain, to show their feelings during this tragic situation of being isolated from their fans.

One of the most original voices in jazz, Lennie Tristano paved the way for modern generations with his groundbreaking innovations and dedication to teaching. Recordings of Lennie Tristano have served as essential listening for jazz fans and musicians alike since his recording debut as a leader in 1946. His singular voice on his instrument and his expansions in the worlds of harmony and rhythm forever changed the musical vocabulary of the Jazz musician.

The Sweetwater Sessions started out as a recording workshop at the gorgeous Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne, Indiana. But after a couple of preparatory conversations with co-producer Mark Hornsby,, we had an idea: - If we’re gonna have a musical dream team assembled and hanging out in a world class studio, why not tack on a couple extra days and see if we can record a retrospective of JBro tunes for a visceral “live, in the studio” record. And that’s what we did. Back together with the team from Midnight. Hallelujah., plus Sean Driscoll, who’s been touring with me for about 6 years we had a really great organic revisiting of some beloved music.

The Storm Sessions is the latest glowing proof that Elkhorn are one of the most durable and adventurous platforms of the new guitar age. Snowed in with their friend Turner Williams (Ramble Tamble, Guardian Alien) on the night of an emotionally important gig, the duo-plus-one turned it into a cathartic blizzard-bound collaboration and rumination — and a new step for Elkhorn.

'The Lockdown Sessions' was recorded at home during the Covid lockdown between 2020 and 2021. Also included is 'Comfortably Numb 2022' which was recorded during Waters' This Is Not A Drill North American tour. The collection includes five seminal tracks from across Roger Waters' time with Pink Floyd and his solo career; 'Mother' and 'Vera' from Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'; 'Two Suns in the Sunset' and 'The Gunner's Dream' from Waters' final Pink Floyd album, 'The Final Cut'; and 'The Bravery of Being Out of Range' from his highly acclaimed solo album, 'Amused to Death'. Waters' new version of the classic Pink Floyd song 'Comfortably Numb' features as the final track.
