The acclaimed trumpeter has been inspired by the quirky, romantic, disillusioned and joyful tunes written by one of the greatest songwriters of the past 50 years, Joni Mitchell. Steele’s approach is to savour the simplicity; not stray too far from the melody; look for beauty; and create tunes that glow and sparkle with warmth and affection.

Amour is the first collaboration between famed Colin Linden (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, ABC's hit TV show "Nashville)" and Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars, Black Crowes). It is made up of a collection of classic love songs from Americana, featuring guest vocalists Rachael Davis, Ruby Amanfu, Billy Swan and Sam Palladio & Jonathan Jackson from Linden's tenure as musical director on the hit TV show "Nashville". Both Linden and Dickinson are true veterans of Roots music having played with and produced the biggest names in the business while displaying the mantle of countless awards and accolades to reflect that. Amour was recorded and produced by Colin Linden with the intention of warming hearts everywhere and truly expressing the passion of Americana.

Veteran singer/songwriter Jesse Colin Young, former frontman of the folk-rock band The Youngbloods, will release his 22nd solo album, Highway Troubadour, on November 27.

The signature-lyricism and melancholy of Colin Vallon's compositions as well as his trio's understated three-way interaction remain magically intact on Samares. Yet, much has evolved in the sound of the Swiss pianist's group since their last record for ECM, 2017's Danse, among other things Vallon's freshly introduced use of electronics to modulate his instrument's pitch. Dynamic extremes are explored and tuneful hooks - some melody-, some harmony-, others beat-based - patiently assembled, often completed in mesmerizing fashion.

Emerging from the Boston DIY scene, known for throwing parties in art galleries, basements and their own apartments, Colin Domigan has been producing edits, bootlegs, remixes and singles since 2012. In 2015 Colin Domigan started working on collaborations with some friends to try to work out a better sound, and then Buddy List started taking form. Colin James and the Little Big Band II is a swing-jive album by Canadian musician Colin James, released in 1998. Colin James and the Little Big Band II earned James the 1999 Juno Award for "Best Producer". While the late '90s may be remembered as the era of the swing revival movement, Colin James was one of the first artists to rediscover this popular musical style of yesteryear. Although James started out first and foremost as a blues guitarist, he'd been a lover of swing since he was a teen, deciding to ditch his blues-rock for 1993's Colin James and the Little Big Band I. The switch proved to be the right move back home; the album was a double-platinum smash.
