Vaughan bridged the gap between blues and rock like no other artist had since the late '60s. His tragic death in 1990 only emphasized his influence in blues and American rock & roll. The PILEDRIVER story started back in 1995 when the band was founded by Michael Sommerhoff ("Rick Parfitt") and Peter Wagner ("Francis Rossi"). Being fans of the original STATUS QUO line-up (also referred to as the "Frantic Four") they weren´t very fond of the releases after the final "Frantic Four"-album "Never too late" in 1981. The "Thirsty work"-CD from 1994 was the "momentum" for their decision to kick off a "tribute-band" which wasn´t bound just to reproduce popular tracks of other people but to develop self written material in the very much appreciated "FF-style", the sound the original SQ once stood for and that secured them their place in rock history.

Bridges To Bremen is the full-length show performed by The Stones on the fifth and final leg of the Bridges To Babylon Tour. Filmed at the German city’s Weserstadion on September 2, 1998, the band had by then completed four legs in the stadiums and arenas of North America (twice), Asia and South America before finally landing in Europe early that summer. Ever the innovators, Bridges To Babylon was a tour of firsts - thp first time the band went on the road with a permanent В-stage, and also the first time where fans could vote on the band's website for a track they wanted to hear on the setlist - Memory Motel in the case of the Bremen fans.
