Reissue with the latest DSD remastering. A really wonderful album that's sometimes overlooked because of it's relatively oblique cover and name – which both hide the wonderful talents within! In truth, the set might be billed as a Cedar Walton session – or maybe almost an Eastern Rebellion one – as the vibe here is very similar to that later group, with a strong tenorist working alongside Walton's trio, plus a bit of extra Latin percussion. Clifford Jordan delivers wonderful tenor throughout – and the core sound of Walton on piano, Sam Jones on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums is as great as on any of that group's other wonderful albums of the time. Add in Ray Mantilla – who throws in some congas to complicate the grooves a all the best moments – and you've got some mighty nice icing on the cake! Titles include "He Is A Hero", "Una Mas", "Manteca", and "DB Blues".

My God-Given Right is the fifteenth studio album by German power metal band Helloween. It was released on May 29, 2015. In October 2014, the band announced they were working on a new album for a May 2015 release, with Charlie Bauerfeind producing, to be recorded at Mi Sueño Studio on Tenerife. On February 26, 2015, the band released the name of the album, as well as the May 29th, 2015 release date. According to guitarist and founder Michael Weikath, there was no particular reason for the change of labels other than "plain business".
Ten’s newie touches on just about everything that the band is known for - Gary Hughes’ simple, but warm vocals; pomp flavoured hard rock tunes that run the gamut from simple to epic; totally bonkers lyrics about spectral astrology, mandrake twilight, dragons, distressed wenches and stuff like that; and a comforting knowledge that band ringleader Hughes knows where his strengths are and plays to them…
Textures, layers, grooves, CHOPS…it's all here. Scott's melodic voice and tone stand out. Carlton and Hertz stand confidently along side any of Scott's other rhythm sections. Icing on the cake is the album's SOUND!!! Fans of Scott's more fusion oriented work (such as myself) will be pleased with Vibe Station. Awesome modern Strat sound in a monster power-trio. Five stars…

Aside from a few minor differences, 1973's Bedside Manners Are Extra is equivalent to Greenslade's debut album, inundated with the same dazzling synthesizer work and atmospheric guitar implementations from Tony Reeves…
Sunchild is yet another prog project from talented and prolific Ukrainian musician Antony Kalugin. Kalugin currently records under three band names, Karfagen, Hoggwash and Sunchild. Under the Sunchild name, he brought together a plethora of other Ukranian musicians to supplement his impressive keyboard and writing talents. The music is an all out prog feast with many varied tempos and loads of keyboards washing over everything. A wide array of horns and woodwinds are used to great extent as well. Kalugin does the bulk of the singing (in English) with perhaps a slight accent. He also brings in guest vocalists, both male and female to add even more dimensions to the proceedings.
